Maps

Bob Burd is one of the most prolific peakbaggers in U.S. He has a tremendous number of well-documented trip reports of his hikes in the western U.S. which include photos & annotated maps on his website. Since I like to peruse hikes based on location, I did a little scripting and made Google Map & Earth kml views of all the peaks he has visited. When you click on the peak, the name with a link to Bob's trip report will show up. There is a individual page for both the Map and Earth views, updated last on 6/5/2013. This was pretty low-effort without much refinement, so feel free to provide feedback.

  1. Awesome! I've been reading Bob's trip reports for a long time now.

  2. Does this map no longer work? When I load the page I get an error message, and when I click "learn more" it says KML is no longer supported in Google Maps, blah blah. I have tried using Chrome and IE, so I don't know if it's me, or if there is something not working...
